The Hartford Area Association of Parish Nurses is a membership organization for an interfaith network committed to supporting Parish Nurses in their ministry. The organization was formed in 2004. Its members carry out the mission of Parish Nursing
in over 25 faith communities in the greater Hartford area. HAAPN is a program of the Connecticut Nurses' Association.

The mission of the Hartford Area Association of Parish Nurses is to support Parish Nurses in their ministry of promoting physical, emotional and spiritual health and well being within faith communities. This association seeks to advance the specialty practice of Parish Nursing through ongoing education, resource sharing and peer support.
